Alysia Johnson
BFA - Dance
Class of 2018

Affectionately known as Allie J, I’m a first year Dance BFA at Juilliard. Besides dancing, I enjoy doodling and keeping up with the news from my hometown, Dallas, via Facebook and Instagram. I’m also an aspiring photographer and writer and am always looking for challenges around and outside the city.

Jasminn Johnson

Jasminn Johnson is a third year actor, and proud member of Group 45. From Myrtle Beach, South Carolina she is a graduate of the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. David Nagy
MM - Bassoon

Class of 2015

I’m a second year graduate bassoonist and have been pursuing the impulses of an adventurous spirit ever since my youthful years of growing up in Hungary. I’m committed to exploring the mysteries of the human experience through art and music and seek inspiration in moments of both profundity and profanity. I can frequently be found sipping espresso and reading Nabokov in the corner of a quiet café, and a little less frequently belting uninhibitedly at a karaoke bar in the East Village

Riley O'Flynn
BFA - Dance

Class of 2017

I was born in San Francisco, California and grew up playing sports and performing musical theater before discovering my love of dance. Now in my second year at Juilliard, I like to think of the glass as being half-full in all situations in life.

Rannveig Sarc

I'm a freshman violinist originally from Iceland. Born in Slovenia, I started playing the violin at age four. Music has always been a big part of my live, but I also love dancing, traveling, and finding great food in New York City.

Olivia Staton

My name is Olivia and I'm a freshman flute player! I lived in Vienna, Virginia before coming to Juilliard, but I spent most of my life overseas in Japan and Italy. In addition to playing the flute, I also do ballet and enjoy being outside and spending time with my dog - Charlie.

Philip Stoddard
MFA - Drama
Class of 2018

I'm a first-year MFA candidate in the Drama Division's Group 47. I'm thrilled to return to Juilliard after receiving my Bachelor of Music degree in 2013 in the Vocal Arts division. I hope to have a multifaceted career in the arts - theater, opera, musical theater, film, TV, play/screenwriting, directing and producing. I'm a native of Phoenix, Arizona and my passions include organic and sustainable agriculture, cooking, yoga and traveling.
