October is coming to a close and to top off the month we got to have HALLOWEEKEND!!! There were costumes, scares, and many fun times! Halloween is always the perfect holiday which allows people to express their inner creativity and flaunts bright colors, interesting ideas and eccentricity on every street corner. Of course, to add to all the awesome, scary fun, there's nothing like those tasty Halloween candy treats! My favorite is obviously the sour gummy worms and jaw breakers!
On the Friday of Halloweekend before Halloween, my galpal Aleea, another singer in my year, and I decided on our costumes and went to the Juilliard Halloween Dance to have some yummy treats and some fun on the dance floor. Shortly after that, we took off to a costume party with lots of people, music, dancing, and frights galore.
Up next, we have Thanksgiving, Hannukah, and last but not least, Christmas. I have to admit that I love all holidays, but when the Christmas music comes on in stores and the holiday cheer spreads throughout the school and the whole city, I get a lovely pep in my step. I am very much looking forward to snow days, lovely music, and the greatest food of the year.
Till next time!
