Upcoming/Current Shows and Rehearsals
Being a student at Juilliard means having lots of opportunities to not only see amazing shows both inside and outside of Juilliard, but also to have my own performances alongside amazing colleagues. Most recently I got tickets to see Norma at the Metropolitan Opera and I got to meet one of my greatest idols, Joyce DiDonato! This experience was unforgettable and I am so grateful to have had the ability to hear her sing.
In addition, this week I was able to meet up with one of my great friends, Soraya, who was in Germany with me this past summer performing the opera 'Le nozze di Figaro' by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, to see a modern ninety minute production of Idomeneo directed by our fantastic director from Germany, David Paul! It was a great night!
Last weekend I performed pieces by composers such as Bizet, Puccini, and Mozart with a Gluck group out in the NYC community. This was an hour performance that I did with these wonderful ladies to inspire the community and share the power of art with the public.
Coming up, I will be performing in more Gluck concerts all around New York city and in a chamber concert later on in December. Also, in February, I will be performing in the chorus of 'The Merry Wives of Windsor' which is a German opera in three acts by Otto Nicolai based on William Shakespeare's play 'The Merry Wives of Windsor'.
There's always something happening in NYC, and I could not be more thrilled to be here to experience it all first hand with my amazing friends, coaches, and teachers.
Till Next Time!
