Hitting the Ground Running
Somehow we’re already a month into the school year and performances, essays, and even midterms are already fast approaching! Just as the leaves are piling up, so is my workload. The recent cold front in New York has brought a work front to Juilliard as well, but it’s nice to finally be in the swing of things. A few weeks ago, I performed in the first Juilliard concert of the school year. It was nice to see familiar faces after a summer apart, and we all worked hard to put together a successful opening performance.
Since then, I’ve been occupied with other rehearsals, coachings, seating auditions, and lessons, but soon I’ll be starting orchestra rehearsals for the next concert cycle. On top of that, the fall season in NYC is just around the corner, and I already have a bucket list full of fun activities, both musical and non-musical, to complete this autumn (between classes, of course!).
