SEMESTER WRAP-UP!

SEMESTER WRAP-UP!

Phew!

Wow time flies... Third year is almost halfway over! I can't believe it...

It feels like I just started...

It feels like I just checked in for Orientation at Juilliard...

It feels like...

I have to say, I thought this semester would be a lot easier since my course schedule was virtually blank compared to my schedule from last year.

But BOY was I wrong...

My classes were more demanding this year, and I had decided to put my hands into more bags. I'm a Juilliard Diversity Advocate, member of the Juilliard Black Student Union and a principal usher. And that's not to mention outside gigs as well as Juilliard concerts and rehearsals.

Thinking back, I should have planned my year in an even more detailed way. I need to give myself time to get everything done, and also have a life outside of Juilliard.

This is part of why I'm excited to go back home for break...so I can rethink my plan for next semester, because looking at my course schedule, it is not getting at all easier.

(I'm also excited for my grandmother's homecooked gumbo, but that's a given!)
