A Tour of the Ladies' Drama Dressing Rooms

Blogger, Regina, gives a tour of the Drama Department Women's Dressing Room!

One of the perks of being a second year Drama student at Juilliard is that you get to have your own dressing room station! When you are in your first year you get this tiny locker room with a bench, a microwave, a refrigerator, a large mirror and you get to share all of that with all the ladies in your class. While it’s a great way to bond with colleagues, having your own space has beneficial effects on your well-being especially in a demanding program. Thankfully, once you get into second year you are transferred to a larger dressing room which you share with the third year drama ladies.  Apart from having your own locker you will each have your own station with a desk and mirror.

I can’t tell you how much nicer it is to have your own space where you can place what you need, work on anything, or just breathe. You can also personalize it however you want.
