A (Sun)day in the Life of a Voice Major

A (Sun)day in the Life of a Voice Major

As a busy Juilliard student, I REALLY cherish my time off. While of course I love my studies, the weekends are a great time to recharge from the busy week and to prepare for the week ahead. Here is how I usually spend my Sundays:

10:30: Late start. I love sleeping in, and I do so whenever I get the chance :-)

12-1:30: Church at Hillsong. I typically walk since it’s not too far (Times Square). It’s always nice to see parts of the city that I don’t usually venture into.

2:00: A long walk in Central Park. Central Park is my favorite place to go in my free time because it’s so beautiful. Every week I find a new spot in the park that I love, and this week it’s the Ramble. Look at all the trees!!

4:00: This is when I typically remember that I still have homework to do! Who knew English Diction was so complicated?

5:00: Practice!

6:00: Getting a bit of shopping done.

7:00: Facetiming my family! We typically talk every night.

9:00: Catching up on my TV shows!! (Right now I’m watching The Night Of)

10:00: Writing my schedule for the week into my planner and getting ready for Monday :-)

11/ 11:30: Bed time!
