When did you begin playing music?
I began violin lessons when I was 9 in the Suzuki Method, and switched to viola when I was 18 while in my first of two years at The Victoria Conservatory of Music in Victoria, BC Canada.
If you could be in another division, what would it be?
I would love to be in the dance division! I started dancing when I was very little and it was a huge part of my life until I was 17, when I decided to pursue music.
What do you miss most about Canada?
Family, friends, and the seemingly endless blue canvas that is Alberta’s sky.
What is a hobby of yours?
Iyengar Yoga, writing and caring for my plants!
If you could have a superpower what would it be? Teleportation.
What inspires you?
Nature, my teachers, fellow artists and close friends and family.
Describe your perfect day in New York.
Waking up early, taking a yoga class, practicing, brunch with some friends at one of my favourite places, and (because it would be a warm and sunny day of course) exploring an area of the city don’t know very well seeing where my feet take me.
